CCP Building Products are customer-centric, agile, and innovative and a prominent manufacturer and trade supplier of concrete blocks and premium aggregates into the North West of England, Wales and beyond.
Working within a small, experienced team, on a day-day basis you'll work in our quarry weighbridge, building great working relationships and product knowledge which you will use to influence our customers, supporting the complete quarry transport operations and planning the workload.
You'll be an ambassador for our "Customer First" culture, resolving any issues quickly and keeping your customers and key stakeholders informed.
The Weighbridge Operator role requires a hands-on individual, an effective and straight forward communicator and influencer with an enthusiastic drive to promote continual improvement with an ability "to think outside the box".
Working with the management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient management of all CCP Aberdo Logistics operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all deliveries are on time, in full.
- Ensure all deliveries are inputted into weighbridge system correctly
- Ensure reports are prepared correctly
- Ensuring company policies & procedures are adhered to
- Physically assist in all aspects of the daily delivery operations
- Have prior experience in a role where you can demonstrate effective weighbridge operations.
- Be able to work as part of a team, supporting colleagues.
- Have great communication skills both verbal and written
- Have effective administration, planning, and organisation skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent IT/Computer skills are required. MS Office including Excel and Outlook & experience of database entry.
- Highly organised and able to work under pressure.
- Previous experience in the construction industry would be advantageous but not essential.
