A prestigious education provider and Multi-Academy Trust based in central London is seeking to appoint an experienced individual to support our finance function and support to schools.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Multi Academy Trust at a time of development.

There is a large degree flexibility over where and when hours are worked, and we are open to any suggestions regarding flexible working including partly working from homeand term time working.

The Finance Assistant is a member of the Trust Central Team.

They are responsible for supporting the Head of Finance and Trust Central Team in delivering an effective finance service to schools.


The role will include the following:

  • Provide professional finance support to Schools within our Trust and help ensure compliance with statutory requirements. This includes but is not limited to bank reconciliations, journal posting, clearing control accounts, transaction processing and financialmonitoring.
  • Support the production of financial monitoring reports for individual schools including Monthly Management Accounts, Governor Papers and statutory submissions.


This post would be suitable for someone who is a qualified or part qualified accountant, or an experienced finance professional.

Experience in Multi-Academy Trust/Academy accounting would be an advantage.
