Description

We are seeking someone to assist predominantly in our property management department with accounts entries, bookkeeping and some additional administration roles, initially part time (all day Monday plus other hours to be agreed, can be flexible).

We are a firm of chartered surveyors dealing with a wide range of commercial properties throughout the region and are looking for someone to join a small team, with training offered in property management accounting and systems as required.

The role requires a person who is numerate, methodical, reliable and thorough.

Ideal skills will include a good knowledge of Excel, experience with dealing with income and expenditure and dealing with figures.

Knowledge of a property management accounting software package (or similar) would be ideal, but training will be given on MRi QUBE, and experience in property would be desirable, but not essential.


Tasks will include:

  • Posting income and expenditure
  • Balancing client accounts and reconciliation of income & expenditure
  • Data input & analysis
  • Assistance with purchase ledger & invoice processing
  • Dealing with invoice queries from suppliers and tenants
  • Assisting with day to day tenant enquiries for a range of queries
  • General assistance in the office with telephone and client enquiries
  • Working alongside the Property Management Accountant and Property Manager in a small team

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 14 per week


Salary:
£15,000.00-£20,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Kendal: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
