WELFARE RIGHTS OFFICER

MONDAY TO FRIDAY - 37 HOURS PER WEEK

£25,000 PER ANNUM

Three Year Contract (1st May th April 2026)
The Disability Information Bureau is a small charity with a proud history. Established in Macclesfield in 1993, we provide holistic services specific to the needs of disabled communities across Cheshire East.

Many of these people find themselves hidden from view and isolated from society, and all our resources go into combatting the risks they face.

We are looking to recruit a Welfare Rights Officer to lead a team of volunteers to provide information, advice and guidance on Welfare Benefits in line with the terms and conditions set out in
The Community Fund - Reaching Communities Grant document.

The geographical coverage will be Crewe, Alsager and Congleton by attending out-reach venues.


Salary:
£25,000.00 per year
