Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service? HMRC is seeking a dedicated Customer Service Advisor to join its team.

This role presents an opportunity to make a meaningful impact, supporting public services and ensuring the timely payment of benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-rate customer service via phone, email, or web chat, addressing customers' queries and concerns.
Assist customers in paying the correct amount of tax at the right time, offering guidance on taxation and financial obligations.
Process payments over the phone and through online services, ensuring seamless transactions.
Engage with customers via webchat and email, providing support and resolving issues promptly.

Requirements:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (and Welsh where required).
Dedicated commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
A can-do attitude, passion for supporting people, and a willingness to navigate diverse conversations.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable discussing debt and financial matters with customers, as well as maintaining accurate records. Full training is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for those new to the field.

Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience
