About the role:

It's an exciting time to join the commercial claims team here at AXA Insurance as the Continuous Improvement Specialist.

Working with our claims areas, this role will drive process efficiency and quality in a way that enables our people to do the right things for our customers.

The Claims Continuous Improvement agenda is a priority focus in Commercial Claims & this role will support in delivering that agenda and continuing to embed the capability and culture of Continuous Improvement.


At AXA we work smart, this role is non-office based meaning you can predominantly work from home, and you'll travel to the Haverhill office as required.


What you'll be doing:


  • Working across claims operational areas in scoping, planning, and delivering improvements that align with strategic aims.
  • Supporting the impact of the Claims Continuous Improvement team, through a disciplined focus on reducing waste, improving cycle time and identifying automation opportunities.
  • Leading process improvement projects and implementing a problemled, data driven and evidencebased approach to recommendations and decisionmaking.
  • Working as part of project teams to deliver agreed changes, setting objectives, planning activity and ensuring that critical milestones are met.
  • Establishing KPIs and measures to monitor and improve process efficiency.
  • Ensuring financial and nonfinancial benefits are identified, tracked and realised.
  • Conducting postimplementation reviews to ensure successful delivery.
  • Supporting the drive for a culture of Continuous Improvement within the business.
  • Developing and coaching process owners and frontline staff to a level that enable selfserve capabilities.

About you:


What we're looking for:


  • Experience of working in Op Ex / continuous improvement role is essential.
  • Lean / Green Belt practitioner with practical and relevant experience from any industry.
  • Experience of working in an Agile project environment is desirable.
  • You'll be resultsoriented with the ability to plan and execute data gathering and analysis.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, as well as excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to identify, track, and enable the achievement of the planned benefits and intended outcomes of a program and associated projects.
  • Numerate and comfortable discussing financial and nonfinancial benefits with finance and other business leaders.
  • You'll be proficient in using the programs Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.


As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
