Job Title:
Finance Assistant


Responsibilities:


  • Assist in day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Process and reconcile financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities by compiling and analyzing financial information.
  • Prepare financial reports and statements for review by senior finance professionals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and address queries.
  • Assist in auditing activities to ensure financial integrity and adherence to policies.
  • Manage petty cash and expense reports, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Utilize accounting software and spreadsheets to maintain organized financial records.
  • Stay updated on relevant financial regulations and industry best practices.
  • Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Prior experience in a finance or accounting role is preferred.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to evolving financial processes.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling financial information.
