    They are looking for a Sales Specialist to join them on a permanent basis. This role is mostly remote, with the exception of being in the office around 1 day per month in any of their regional offices. They are looking for someone with experience in sales with relevant sector experience - Wind, Solar, Gas, Oil, Heat, Power, Education, (Renewables and sustainability).

    **Role Overview**

    The Junior Business Development Manager will assist in driving new business opportunities and expanding relationships with existing clients in the renewable energy sector. You will play a key role in identifying market trends, supporting the development of new partnerships, and contributing to the growth of our renewable energy projects. This position is ideal for a dynamic and proactive individual with a passion for sustainable energy and business development.

    **Key Responsibilities**

    • Lead Generation & Market Research:
      • Identify and research potential clients and market opportunities within the renewable energy industry.
      • Conduct industry analysis, identifying trends, competitors, and market developments that could influence business growth.
      • Support the identification of new business verticals and target markets for expansion.
    • Client Engagement & Relationship Management:
      • Assist in building and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
      • Provide support in the development and execution of sales strategies to meet company growth objectives.
      • Help prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and marketing materials to clients and partners.
    • Project Support & Proposal Development:
      • Assist in the preparation of proposals, bids, and contracts in response to client inquiries.
      • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., technical, legal, and finance) to ensure the timely and accurate submission of proposals.
      • Help monitor the progress of ongoing projects, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
    • Networking & Industry Events:
      • Attend industry events, conferences, and seminars to network and represent the company.
      • Participate in developing relationships with industry stakeholders, including local governments, contractors, and consultants.
    • Reporting & Analytics:
      • Assist in the preparation of reports on business development activities, including progress on sales targets and market analysis.
      • Track and report on key performance metrics to ensure business development goals are being met.

    **Key Skills & Qualifications**

    **Education:**

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

    **Experience:**

    • At least 1-2 years of experience in a business development, sales, or related role, preferably in the renewable energy or sustainability sector.
    • Experience in energy or technology sectors would be advantageous.

    **Skills:**

    • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to identify market trends and opportunities.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare compelling proposals and presentations.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanor and the ability to engage with clients and partners effectively.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM software.
    • Knowledge of the renewable energy market, technologies, and industry players is a plus.
