Description

Volta Trucks, a hypergrowth European Electric Truck Manufacturer, is looking for a Head of Information Security to join our team.

This role can be performed by someone based anywhere in the UK or in France.

This is a unique opportunity to join an ambitious scale-up where you will have the opportunity to contribute to the Cyber Security strategy for a forward thinking, rapidly expanding business.

We would like you to:

Create and implement the strategy and roadmap of the organisation, identify new and existing security methods to constantly improve posture.
Embed an Information Security Policy Framework across Volta that addresses the needs of Volta and other external stakeholders in line with relevant legislation and industry standards
Challenge the status quo by incorporating the latest market developments/best practices and bring outside knowledge into the organisation.
Attract and retain a highperforming InfoSec talent. Be a coach and mentor to a team to develop their career.
You'll facilitate periodic security testing activities (pen testing, DR exercises) and prioritise and manage response activities
Responding to customer/investor audit requirements

We would like you to have:

Demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally within a start-up / scale-up environment.
Balance of technical, management and policy hands on experience
Ability to perform business impact analysis, risk assessment and treatment.
Knowledge of security tools & technologies within a large & complex environment including antimalware / EDR, SIEM, DLP, etc.
CISM/CISSP/CISA (Desirable)
Prince2/PMP & Agile Trained (Desirable)
