About the role We are growing our Developer Marketing team and looking for a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as a Developer Evangelist. You will work multi-functionally across all of Arm, bringing direct feedback for product insights and marketintelligence from your engagements with the software developer community and creating credible resources to solve real problems for developers.


Accountabilities:


  • Responsible for improving the developer experience in solutions, based on innovative technology giving input and expertise to real product development
  • Develop technical projects (e.g., tutorials, demos, etc.) and produce technical content (e.g., written howto tutorials, blogs, white papers, videos, social content, workshops, webinars etc.) used to educate the wider developer community for solutions builton Arm, including but not limited to, machine learning, AI, autonomous systems, IoT, Cloud to edge, mobile, and more
  • Directly support the Arm developer community through a wide variety of communication channels, including social media
  • Engage in realtime communication with developers in our Slack and Discord servers
  • Create and publish your own content and others' content on the Arm Software Developers contentbased channels (GitHub, Youtube, etc...)
  • Collaborate with Arm developers in the community to ensure increased visibility for communityfocused / created content

Education and Qualifications:


  • A university degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or similar

Essential Skills & Experience:


  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Passion for technology.
  • Proven experience in engineering or developer relations roles and significant experience with various Armbased technologies.
  • Strong programming experience in more than one or more programming languages such as C, C++, Python, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Ability to effectively articulate complicated technical messages in a simple and succinct way to educate developers with different experience levels.

Desirable Skills & Experience Linux Operating Systems, preferably with some experience of Yocto build system as well as experience with cloud native development flows, especially containers (e.g. Docker) and usage of public cloud IoT workflows

  • GitHub (or other version control systems) and maintaining projects in a versioncontrolled environment
  • Single board computers
  • Working with cloud services like AWS
  • Opensource contributions and excellent understanding of software development cycles and contribution processes
