  • Strategic Buyer £3045k**This company design and manufacture temperature, speed and pressure sensors for gas turbines and airframes.

Main Duties:


  • Select and manage high performing suppliers to improve the business objective and perform business and performance reviews of the suppliers
  • Identify risk within the supply chain and manage the plans to address these in line with recognised tools and standards
  • Identify and deliver cost down initiatives and provide costs and view opportunities/alternatives
  • Provide support for NPI and Innovation projects

Required Skills/Experience:


  • Previous purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience of managing sourcing solutions, supply chain problems, managing, interpreting and analysing purchasing data with strong IT skills
  • Use of MRP system for in a manufacturing/production environment

Salary:


  • £30-45k, dependent on experience
