GOSH is a national and international centre of excellence.

Within International and Patient Care (I&PC), we provide specialist care and treatment to children from predominantly the Middle Eastern regions, as well as the UK.

We are seeking an experienced Arabic Interpreter/Translator on a fixed term contract to provide an Interpreting & Translation service in order to facilitate a therapeutic relationship between the patients and/or families and the healthcare providers based within I&PC.

The successful applicant must have a demonstrable experience as a Interpreter/Translator, ideally in a healthcare setting. You must be a strong team player with proven commitment to providing a high quality service.

You must be able to communicate effectively in both Arabic and English and build credible working relationships with our patients, families and staff.

Attention to detail is essential, as well as knowledge of Islamic cultural/religious issues.
