Who are you?
You are a strong coordinator with experience of managing personnel logistics, ideally in the offshore environment. You may come from a personnel logistics background.
Who is our client?
They are an EPIC energy engineering contractor and OEM who specialise in providing equipment and engineered solutions to the offshore energy industry.
What is the role?
This is a fulltime, permanent position based at our client's offices in Great Yarmouth. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role is to coordinate a team off offshore technicians, ensuring they are where they should be, when they should be there and with the correct equipment and qualifications to undertake their work.
What will my daytoday duties look like?
Coordination and scheduling of operational staff/technicians
Booking travel and arranging visas as required.
Perform regular competency/appraisal assessments of technicians.
Training and supervision of service technicians and trainees.
Drive team and contractor participation in onboard safety systems
Participate in week on/week off duty rota.
Work with Ops Manager to develop team plans.
Understanding of completing & filing internal documentation.
Supporting colleagues to deliver offshore projects.
Liaising with client representatives, at all levels.
Assisting with Inventory database certification/management.
Assist with transport logistics bookings including import/export.
Take responsibility for activity relating to quality and safety.
