Field Care Supervisor
We now have an amazing opportunity to join our professional and supportive home care team, in Nelson, as a Field Care Supervisor.
We are looking for an experienced Care Supervisor to join our team in delivering this high-quality care to our elderly and vulnerable service users, in their own homes.
This is a great opportunity for kind and compassionate individuals to further develop their careers, in a highly rewarding role.
Previous experience as a Care Worker, and as a Supervisor, is essential as you will be supervising a team of care workers.
All further training needs will be provided for you, including the opportunity to gain a higher level diploma in Health and Social Care.
You must be able to complete care needs assessments, write care plans/risk assessments, carry out reviews with service users, and liaise with other professionals and family members.
The role will involve:
- Undertaking spot checks and supervisions with the care staff
- Supporting your team with their personal development
- Monitoring and reporting any identified training needs of your team
- Ensuring the wellbeing of service users, and dealing with any safeguarding concerns
- Conducting service reviews and ensuring that all paperwork is updated
- Writing risk assessments and care plans
- Effective communication and team working with colleagues, and other stakeholders
- Ensuring the delivery of personcentred care to a high standard
- Reliability and willingness to work for the best interests of the people we care for
- Involving your service users in all decisions about their own care
- Being able to provide care, when required
- Working flexible hours, or on a rota basis

Applicant requirements:
- Being a driver (with your own transport)
- Previous experience as a Care Worker, and as a Supervisor
- Caring and compassionate
- Highly motivated, a good communicator, and able to lead others
- Level 2, or above, Health and Social Care Diploma (NVQ)
- Must be 18+

£12.00 per hour
