We are seeking to recruit a dynamic clinical practitioner either a Nurse, Social Worker (SW) or Occupational Therapist (OT) to work with a caseload of service users and their networks, supporting them on their recovery journey.
You will be joining a forward thinking team and service that continues to strive to provide outstanding holistic and safe care in collaboration with the Community and Recovery Mental Health Services (CARMHS).
You will have supervision and ongoing professional development with opportunities for training in specialist First Episode Psychosis interventions and skills.
This is a fulltime post (WTE 1.0) working Monday to Friday, 9-5 hours. Based at Ealing Early Intervention Service, Cherington House, Cherington Road, Hanwell.
The role of the Early Intervention Service MH Practitioner is to work in partnership with At Risk mental state (ARMS) and First Episode of Psychosis (FEP) service users wrapping care and treatment around hope and aspirations informing their care and recovery plans.
To work as a member of the multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively in the assessment and planning of care and support to individuals experiencing a First Episode of Psychosis and manage a caseload.
The postholder will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist with a sound background of working in a community mental health setting, of working flexibly and promoting the safety and the wellbeing of service users and their families/carers.
They will have an understanding of the evidence based clinical interventions for this particular care group - including psycho-education, physical health and wellbeing support and risk minimisation planning.
