Commercial Vehicle Service Advisor - Bedfordshire Area

Basic salary: Circa £25,000 Depending on experience.
Plus bonus, OTE circa £30,000+
Flexible Working Hours (8 Hour day starting at 9am latest)

My client is looking for a Service Advisor to join their busy and hard working team based in the Bedfordshire area.

This is a commercial vehicle role, meaning you'll be working with with Heavy vehicles and Light commercial vehicles (vans and trucks).

The company invest heavily in their staff, you will play a key role in the development of the dealership and the experience of the customer.

This company are known for building upon great experience, and aiming to move all of their staff towards senior roles through time-served service.

This role does involve customer interaction, so a background in customer care/interactions will help. You'll also need great communication skills. Basic computer skills and general business knowledge will help you out as well.

Requirements and Responsibilities as a Service Advisor:

You might have some experience as a Service Advisor within an Automotive Business, whether that is for a car garage or commercial business.
OR you will be a customer contact executive, service administrator or have experience within the motor industry trade that enables you to make a success of the role.
You will be taking bookings, helping to organise the technician's workload, managing diaries, advising customers and setting their expectations alongside other duties.
You will be upselling products and services to enhance the customer's experience.
You will be willing to get involved in Administration tasks and other areas of the Service Department as per the needs of the business.
A basic salary of up to £25,000 with an OTE circa £30,000 through their great bonus scheme.
