Job Description:

As a Fire Door Installer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding lives and property by installing and maintaining fire doors according to the highest standards.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Installing fire doors in residential and commercial properties, adhering to all relevant safety regulations and building codes.
Conducting inspections and assessments of existing fire doors to ensure they meet the required standards.
Repairing and replacing fire door components such as hinges, handles, and closers.
Collaborating with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure project timelines are met.
Maintaining accurate records of installations, repairs, and inspections.

Requirements:

Previous carpentry experience is essential, with a proven track record of working with doors, frames, and related hardware.
Knowledge of fire door regulations and building codes is highly desirable.
A valid driving licence is mandatory, as the role will require travel to different sites within Wales and occasionally staying away from home.
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple installations and repairs simultaneously.
