Overview:

Here at AIM Group we are seeking a skilled professional to operate our CNC Machinery, ensuring precision and efficiency in our manufacturing process. If you're experienced in CNC Operations in a dynamic environment then see details below on how to apply.

Duties:


  • Operate CNC machines and tools safely in accordance with manufacturer's guidance and health and safety protocols. (Essential)
  • Program, set up and operate CNC machines to meet production requirements. (Essential)
  • Review specifications to determine setup procedure, machine sequence and dimensions.
  • Manage time to ensure production cycles are met as specified.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance and keeps work area clean and organised.
  • Adhere to company safety procedures and quality standards.
  • Perform additional duties in and around the fabrication workshop where required and instructed by the Foreman.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings to determine the correct machine operation and setup to achieve desired results.
  • Inspect finished products for quality and accuracy
  • Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area

Skills:


  • Minimum 5 years handson CNC machining usage and setup experience required. (Essential)
  • Certification in CNC operation
  • Strong mechanical aptitude of CNC machine shop operations
  • A selfstarter, with demonstrated ability to setup machines and run jobs with mínimal supervision.
  • Understands basic engineering principles and fabrication.
  • Excellent time management skills required.
  • Reliable with strong work ethic, and Team Player mentality

Pay:
£11.75-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
