Responsibilities:


  • Safely operate and drive HGV vehicles in compliance with road traffic regulations and company policies.
  • Transport goods and materials to and from specified locations, ensuring timely delivery and accurate documentation.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks, reporting any issues or concerns to management.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle, both internally and externally.
  • Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and colleagues.

Requirements:


  • Valid HGV license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience as an HGV driver, preferably in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts and occasional weekends as required.
  • Residency in or near Ottery St. Mary preferred.
