Buckfastleigh (Hybrid)

£30,000 - £42,000

Are you a dedicated health and safety professional with a passion for inspiring individuals and businesses to operate safely and sustainably? Look no further We have an exciting opening for a Health and Safety Advisor/Trainer to join our client's construction team.

Our client is a leading provider of Health and Safety services to a wide range of disciplines including construction. The role offers a blend of office, travel and flexible work arrangements.


Role Responsibilities
As a Health and Safety Advisor/Trainer within the Construction Department, you will:

  • Conduct CITB certified training and construction-focused courses at training centres across the South West
  • Perform site safety inspections, incident investigations and reviews at client premises and construction sites
  • Assist in developing Construction Phase Plans and related documentation
  • Identify areas for improvement in HSE management systems and training needs through gap analyses

Required Qualifications and Experience:


  • Holds or is working towards CMIOSH certification
  • Brings 5+ years of experience in the construction sector (as a Health and Safety Advisor/Trainer or at Site Manager level)
  • Excels in delivering engaging training and Health & Safety consultancy services
  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to providing topnotch customer service
  • Maintains high personal and professional standards
  • Is proficient in both inperson and online training delivery
