Electrical Estimator Bristol £45k to £55k p.a. + benefits d.o.e.


_Exciting opportunity for experienced Bid Engineer / Estimator to be part of the renewable energy industry as successful & employee-owned Bristol based high voltage engineering company continues to grow and build on success._

The Role
As Bid Engineer / HV Estimator you will manage the full life cycle of tender enquiries from initial enquiry, through to negotiations, contract award and handover to electrical engineering projects teams


Responsibilities will include:
- developing strong understanding of clients commercial & technical requirements
- production / delivery of high-quality and technical bid documentation
- setting out and build-up of tender costings
- building strong, sub-contractor, and supplier relationships
- site surveys, and attendance at pre-tender / post tender / pre-order meetings
- regular progress reporting

The Person
As Bid Engineer / Estimator you will already have proven capability / technical knowledge in delivering tenders within electrical infrastructure sector


You will also have:
- good technical / commercial knowledge
- ability to interpret complex documents, analytical and problem-solving skills
- excellent organisational & time management skills
- sound judgment / good financial sense / strong negotiation skills
- excellent report writing skills / ability to communicate information clearly & concisely
- knowledge of High Voltage systems would advantageous, as would APMP UK bid/proposal certification.


_You must hold a full UK driving licence and be able to travel on work related business throughout the UK with occasional overnight stays_
