Senior HR Advisor / Assistant HRBP

Birmingham

Responsibilities:


  • Support HR Business Partners in handling employee relations matters, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance improvement plans.
  • Assist in the recruitment process by creating job descriptions, posting job openings, screening CVs, conducting initial interviews, and providing feedback.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new employees and conduct exit interviews.
  • Help ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and employment laws while maintaining HR records and data.
  • Support in identifying training needs and coordinating training programmes for employees.
  • Assist in the performance management process, including goal setting, performance appraisals, and employee development plans.
  • Utilise HR data to prepare reports and insights for HR Business Partners and management.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to administer employee benefits and remuneration programmes.
  • Support with adhoc projects

Qualifications:

  • Experienced HR advisor
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and problemsolving abilities.
  • Proactive, detailoriented, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and MS Office Suite.
  • HR certification (e.g., CIPD) is a plus.
