About the role._

You will be required to work as part of a team, directly reporting into packaging supply planner.

You will be required to ensure that the site labels and packaging are produced and issued in accordance with customer specifications for product and type.

That all information recorded is accurate, legal and that all necessary administration checks are made.

Full training will be provided, however previous experience in this field will be a distinct advantage and will take preference when recruiting for this position

Main responsibilities of role_

Ensure all labels are correct printed and the specific details are correct to the job required.
Ensure you work to a high standard and efficiently and to be able to identify any issues that arise and correct them effectively.
Ensure that the correct procedure for label printing is followed to ensure that all labels are printed within specification. Liaise with QC and Packhouse supervisors regarding any requirement changes.
Maintain accurate data on label software.
To complete paperwork and any associated administrative tasks related to the labels and packaging. Correctly and efficiently and to the processes that have been set and trained out.
Prepare stock such as film/bags/inserts and labels is correctly prepared for the production lines to run the following day using the production plan raised.
To undertake stock checks on print room supplies and report this back to line manager in good time to order.
Always ensure cleanliness of print room.
To deal with any requests for additional labels shorts, etc. or potential substitutions and report back any concerns you may have relating to additional labels.
