Polestar is an independent financial advisor to private businesses and their owners who are looking to raise cash, make acquisitions or sell all/part of their business.


We are looking to take on a budding Junior Graphic Designer to help our current in-house designer tackle various upcoming projects.


The Role:

Our office sits conveniently in the centre of Guildford, just a short walk from the high street. Whilst the role will be primarily office-based, work from home arrangements can be flexible.


Responsibilities:


  • Designing business documentation: business sale documentation, presentations, infographics, etc.
  • Proof reading documents for writing/formatting errors
  • Writing monthly blogs to support the company's content marketing effort
  • Developing the Polestar brand

Traits and skills necessary for the role:

  • Initiative and energy
  • someone who proactively seeks their own solutions to problems and suggests new ways of doing things
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, in particular InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Familiarity with WordPress and website management would be great, but not necessary
  • Good communication skills to work effectively within a team
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and work efficiently
  • Eye for detail and methodical approach to selfreview
  • Good writing and proofreading skills
  • Experience using AI software such as Midjourney and GPT
  • A willingness and drive to learn new skills
  • Camera operating/video and photo editing (this would be nice to have but certainly not essential)

Salary:
£20,000.00-£22,000.00 per year
