Head of Marketing - Hospitality

Hybrid - Oxford

Salary offering up to £42K experience dependentAre you looking to bring at least two years of experience in a Senior Marketing Manager or H/O role within the hospitality/entertainment space and take full responsibility for the day-to-day digital communications of a group of neighbourhood pubs in the Oxfordshirearea who are known for award-winning interiors, top-notch burgers, Neapolitan pizzas, and unbeatable vibes?

Our client is looking for a creative and passionate marketeer who has proven experience creating and management of successful multi-channel marketing campaigns, has superior copywriting skills and an enthusiastic, resilient and problem-solving attitude.

Understanding our client's cultural objectives and being able to translate them across the relevant digital and marketing platforms is at the core of this role.


Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Management of a diverse and growing in-house marketing team as well as external agency relationships
  • Working closely with the Directors to create marketing strategy to align with other areas of the business and wider objectives
  • Oversee all content and social media platforms as well as a handson approach to posting, commenting, updating and engaging with the online community via InstagraM/Facebook / TripAdvisor / Google
  • Creating, management and analysis of events of all sizes from weekly pub quizzes to largescale Street Party/Festival style events
  • Be able to create and assist with the design of marketing collateral to deliver messaging that aligns with brand strategy
  • Collaborate with Management from all the establishments to ensure brand consistency; ensuring brand guidelines and style sheets are adhered too.
The stuff you already know that's going to make you great at this role:

  • Proven experience working with Google Analytics, and basic management of Google Ads
  • Firm grasp of paid social advertising, PPC, SEO and keyword research
  • Good understanding of management of Marketing budget and financial tracking
  • Excellent analytical skills and ability to work through sales data to build strategy and assess campaigns against objectives
  • Basic understanding of Adobe illustrator, Photoshop InDesign; enabling project management with graphic designers (desirable)


It is essential that you have a clean drivers license and your own transport to be able to travel between sites across Oxford, Reading, Cheltenham and Witney.
