Description

As one of our Paramedics, you will often be the first healthcare professional to arrive on scene at emergency and non-emergency medical incidents and it will be your responsibility to treat and transport patients.

When accompanied by a less clinically qualified colleague, such as an emergency care assistant (ECA), you will be expected to assume clinical primacy, provide clinical support and take the lead.

Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) is now recruiting for Paramedics and Newly Qualified Paramedics, or students due to register who are looking to start their career within the Yorkshire Ambulance Service, in East, West and South Yorkshire areas.

We will support you to complete the Newly Qualified Paramedic (NQP) Programme that will help you to make the transition into the paramedic profession.

Please note Band 6 is applicable for Fully Qualified Paramedics only. Those on or due to start an NQP programme will be graded at Band 5.
