About the role


The position will deliver an excellent quality careers provision for our postgraduate students who are often international students exploring one of their first significant career steps.


The position will engage with students, offering high quality advice and guidance through 1:1 consultations, small group sessions and large workshops and will be responsible for the creation of materials, signposting to opportunities and further Careers access and the delivery of high-quality materials.


King's Business School looks to develop our students with knowledge, experience, skills and attributes for future success, and the Careers team are passionate about providing our students with the best support and learning and development opportunities to help prepare them to become business-ready.


This position suits someone who enjoys engaging with and supporting young people, interested in recruiting and hiring of talent and who is data orientated.

They can work across multiple student groups and demographics with equality, accessibility and quality being forefront of their provision.

This will be a full time post offered on an indefinite contract.

About You

Essential criteria


  • Strong coaching skills
  • Project management experience with a track record of leading and delivering projects from concept to evaluation
  • Experience working with young people or early career professionals
  • The ability to use qualitative and quantitative information to critically evaluate, demonstrate and improve the effectiveness of activities
  • An interest in career management and learning and development
  • Skilled in engaging and managing a range of stakeholders with the ability to communicate clearly and appropriately with a range of audiences in a variety of different situations
Desirable criteria


  • A relevant professional qualification in careers and employability (or an openness to obtain a qualification)
  • An understanding of the higher education learning and wider experience
  • A good knowledge of the current job market and an understanding of recruitment and selection processes
