About the role


NRG are working in partnership with a well-known charity organisation based in Gateshead, as they look to add a motivated individual to their Finance Team in a brand new Management Accountant role.

The salary offered for this position is £30,000 - £33,000. The role comes with the option for remote/hybrid working, as well as the option for being part-time or full-time.


Responsibilities:


  • Prepare monthly management account reports
  • Maintain the Central overhead budgets and reporting
  • Supervise monthly payroll processing
  • Prepare quarterly VAT Returns
  • Assist with the month end and quarterly review and adjustments
  • Assist with project budgets, variance reports and forecasts
  • Experienced with Management Accounts reporting including variance analysis and forecasting
  • Experienced in online bookkeeping software
  • Experienced with accounting process routines including reconciliations
  • Experienced in payroll
  • A proficient user of Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint
