Job Summary:
An exam invigilator is responsible for ensuring that exams are conducted in a fair and organized manner. They supervise students during exams to prevent cheating and maintain a secure exam environment. The role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to handle stressful situations calmly.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up exam room and distribute exam materials to students
  • Explain exam rules and regulations to students
  • Monitor students during the exam to prevent cheating
  • Respond to student questions and concerns during the exam
  • Collect and organize completed exams
  • Ensure all exam materials are returned and accounted for
  • Report any irregularities or violations to the exam coordinator or relevant authority
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of exam materials

Requirements:


  • Ability to communicate effectively with students and faculty
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
  • Good organizational and timemanagement skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours during exam periods

Job Type:
Part-time


Salary:
£13.00-£14.00 per hour


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Halesowen: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Education:


  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • DBS (required)
