Porsche Centre South Lakes is looking for an experienced Service Advisor.

We are a family run business that was established at Porsche Centre Kendal by the Parker family. We have been dealing with our Porsche customers since 1957 and are confident in being able to fulfil these for decades to come, by acting in accordance with our values, passion, knowledge and relationships.

Are you a driven, enthusiastic & motivated Service Advisor that can deliver a 5 star customer service experience?

Due to further expansion we are looking for an experienced Service Advisor who will help us build on the heritage of our 60 years with Porsche, whilst delivering an exceptional service experience to all of our customers and internally to each other.
The role requires you to work a 42.5-hour week, 8.30am to 17.30 Monday to Friday.

Saturdays will not be part of your normal working week, however these may be introduced on a rota basis at some point in the future.


Role Responsibilities

  • Meeting and greeting customers in a friendly and courteous manner throughout the day.
  • Taking all our customers through our Direct Dialog Bay (DDB) in order to highlight any additional work that may be required.
  • Advising customers of their required Porsche service intervals and pricing
  • Providing exceptional customer service, including establishing customers needs and onward travel arrangements.
  • Liaising with the workshop staff to keep track of the vehicles progress and ensuring the vehicle is ready at the promised time.
  • Keeping customers fully updated and informed.
  • Handing over vehicles after service work and maintaining ongoing relationships with your customers, colleagues, peers and Manufacturer representatives
  • Maintaining a high level of product expertise and updating your knowledge through Porsche led training.
  • Explaining invoices to customers and taking payments.
  • Adopting a professional approach regarding the sale of services and repairs
  • Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work
  • You will have an attention to detail, be smartly presented, conscientious and possess excellent communication skills.
  • Must have experiance in dealing with difficult and demanding customers.
  • You must be an experienced Automotive Service Advisor with a working knowledge of Pinnacle (Pinwood) or other DMS systems.
  • Will be required to attend Porsche Training and become a Porsche accredited Service Advisor within the required time frames as outlined by the manufacture

More About You

  • Must have at least 2 years experiance as an Automotive Service Advisor
  • Have a hard working team ethos approach to work
  • Excellent communicator both written and verbal
  • Good level of Automotive Technical Knowledge
  • Good Selling skills
  • A 'Can do' attitude
  • Must hold a valid clean driving licence

Salary dependant on experience.


Salary:
£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
