An exciting opportunity has arisen to become part of the Vascular Laboratory at the Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.


We are looking for a 0.8WTE (30hrs) Band 4 Specialist Vascular Laboratory Secretary to join and lead our administration team here in the Vascular Laboratory to help support the service.


Reporting to the head of department, you will be leading our busy administrative team efficiently coordinating and overseeing all administrative aspects required for a smooth running of the department across sites at Gloucester Royal and Cheltenham General hospitals.

You will be expected to manage you own workload.

You will also be responsible for booking various patient appointments, maintain and use hospital systems, monitor waiting lists, database entry, liaise with health professionals, deal efficiently and professionally to the requests of all service users and patient enquiries and provide a functional flexibility to meet the demands of the service.
