Production Operative / Machine Operative

Nursling, Southampton

£10.00 per hour

Pace Recruitment Services are excited to be working with the fantastic reputable company based in the Nursling area of Southampton.

We are looking for a Production Operative / Machine Operative to work on on a temporary ongoing basis for 12 weeks with a view to becoming permanent at the end of the 12 weeks if you get on well

This is an exciting opportunity for any individual wanting to work for a leading global supplier of metals and gain further knowledge to develop yourself.

As a Production Operative / Machine Operative you will be:

Measuring metals to meet correct specifications
Operating machinery to cut the metals as well as deburring the metals ready for dispatch
Packing the metals ready for dispatch
Quality checking
Manual handling of materials
Other general production and machine operative duties

Previous production or machine operative experience would be an advantage, however not essential as all training will be provided.

The working hours are Monday to Friday on a weekly shift rotation. The shift times are and

Hourly pay is £10.00 per hour, paid weekly in arrears.
