Events come in all shapes and sizes and if you're outgoing, keen to engage with the public, or looking for events experience, this could be the role for you.

Our Fundraising Event Volunteers help support and represent us as we raise vital funds and awareness for our service.


North West Air Ambulance Charity is hosting our own Cross Bay Walk this year and we'd love for you to get involved Starting at Arnside, we will make our way across the bay to our end point at Grange-Over-Sands.

We have a number of upcoming events.

You may like to volunteer at a single event as a 'one off' taster slot to see if it's for you, or you may want to sign up fully to volunteer at events on an ongoing basis.


When and where can I volunteer?
-
Saturday 15th July - We
- ll be based at Arnside Quay for the start point and we will be finishing at Grange-Over
  • Sands near the railway station.
Volunteers will be needed anytime from 1pm - 8pm depending on the role.


What will you'll get up to?

  • Registration volunteers needed at Arnside to scan QR codes for walkers and to assist in selling merchandise (1pm 4pm)
  • Finish point volunteers needed to our end point in Grange-OverSands to scan QR codes for walkers, ensuring everyone has returned safely and to assist with our stands to give our information on future events, bucket collections, and more (6pm 8pm)


Roles can be fulfilled by one volunteer if interested and more information will be given when signing up as a volunteer.

Individuals taking on multiple roles will be given breaks during the day.
