We're looking for a Multimedia Journalist to join a leading B2B Publisher in Manchester.


Our Client


Independently owned and based in Manchester city centre, they have grown significantly in the last 18 months, doubling staff numbers and turnover.

They operate 3 sector specific, leading publications, as well as running various industry events and podcasts.


The Role


They're looking for a Multimedia Journalist to work on one of their publications and help them to create exceptional content for their audience of industry leaders - primarily CEO's, directors and senior managers in the UK infrastructure sector.

You'll be sourcing and writing daily news, as well as commissioning content from and interviewing leaders of industry, both to be published online on their industry leading news site and for their bi-monthly magazine.

You'll also host the brands podcast channel and conduct interviews with leaders of industry.

Content will be across a broad range of topics in the sector ranging from engineering, economics, tech, diversity and inclusion, training, retention, learning and development - basically everything senior leaders want to know about.

This is a full time, office-based role.


You


You should have at least 12 months experience in a similar role, ideally with a BA in Journalism or an NCTJ-equivalent degree.

You should have a good understanding of SEO to increase the organic reach of content, experience of promoting your own content across social media platforms, and a real zeal for producing fresh and original content that drives audience engagement.

Ideally you'll have experience in another B2B or Technical sector, producing content with purpose, and enjoy writing for senior level audiences.
