    Description

    Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor (Nightshift)

    Join a Maritime Organisation based in Port Glasgow, where we are currently seeking a permanent Mechanical Supervisor to lead and supervise a multiskilled team.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Installing main machinery on new build vessels
    • Reading and understanding technical drawings
    • Setting up and aligning shafts, thrusters, rudders, gear boxes, pumps, and commissioning mechanical equipment
    • Scheduling work to maximize labor utilization and meet delivery schedules
    • Providing technical guidance to the team and identifying process improvements
    • Updating relevant documents, including daily progress registers, log books, accident reports, training records, performance metrics, and attendance records

    Requirements:

    • Educated to HNC level in a related subject
    • Supervisory experience in an industrial environment
    • Proficiency in MS Office
