About the Role:

As a nursery practitioner you will provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children, support their development across all the 7 areas of learning and plan/implement activities and experiences that promote learning and development.

Responsibilities of working at Raphael Nursery:

• Participates in the children's development and wellbeing
• Carries out risk assessments throughout the day to ensure the nursery is a safe environment and complies with Safeguarding Procedures
• Collaborates to the day-to-day running of the nursery supporting the other staffs in the room in the running of activities, organisation of the room and working always as a team
• Ensures a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care and development for all children at Raphael Nursery
• Assist in promoting equal opportunities and the inclusion of children with special educational needs and disabilities.
• Liaise with and support parents/carers and other family members

Requirements:

The successful candidate must be qualified to Level 2 or above in childcare, have a firm understanding and experience of the Early Years Foundation Stage and have previous experience working within an Early Years setting.
