The Company

This market-leading fashion retailer is looking for a Junior / Merchandiser to join their Head Office team in the West.

The business has a true omnichannel business in the fashion sector.

The Role

Your role as Junior / Merchandiser will be to develop, plan and deliver a commercially focused range alongside the Buying team to drive profit and enhance the brand's position.

Key Responsibilities of this Junior / Merchandiser position -

Develops a longterm and shortterm vision for the department, encompassing strategy, budget, and product
Develops departmental sales, stock, intake, profit, and markdown plans in order to monitor and measure performance
Responsible for managing trade between categories, optimizing sales and stock levels, and phasing intake in accordance with an agreed divisional and departmental plan through effective use of WISSI
Establish an effective department
Merchandising strategy by working closely with the Head of Merchandising
Develop effective relationships with team members in Buying, Design, Product Technology, Retail, Marketing, and VM

Requirements for this Junior / Merchandiser position -

Extensive experience in Merchandising at a Senior to Junior or Assistant Merchandiser level
Background within Fashion in the Retail, Ecommerce or B2C sector
Knowledgeable of all merchandising processes
Advanced working knowledge of Excel or WSSI experience
Strong commercial awareness
