We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our Customer Services Team.


This is a truly exciting time to join South Yorkshire Pensions Authority as we move into a new phase of innovation and an ambitious agenda of continuous improvements to enhance the services we provide to our customers.


We are a growing public sector organisation with a team of around 100 staff who run the workplace pension scheme on behalf of a large number of employing organisations, including Local Authorities and other public bodies, educational institutions and a numberof charitable organisations.

You will provide administrative support to the Pensions Administration Teams in relation to a range of business support functions including scanning and indexing incoming and outgoing post and dealing with a range of customer enquiries
- both over the phoneand on-line. The role also assists with a range of data verification exercises aimed at ensuring continuous improvement to the quality of information held on the Authority's administration systems, for example verifying personal information regarding our membersby referencing databases and liaising with external providers.


You will hold a Level 2/3 or equivalent qualification, or be able to evidence ability at an equivalent level is essential.

The ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing and being accurate and able to prioritise and organise your own workloadare also essential requirements.


Previous office experience is essential and, since you will often be a first point of contact for our scheme members, you will have an understanding of how to provide a first class customer service.
