An exciting career opportunity within a major insurance group for a qualified (or part-qualified) GI actuary to undertake the ongoing technical independent validation of the Internal Economic Capital Model.

With a primary focus on reviewing and performing the technical test elements, you will coordinate the delivery of primary validation testing, as part of the Group's continuing compliance with Solvency II.

You will also support the Validation Framework planning, leading on and performing deep dive reviews into models and reporting findings to the Model Validation Team while leading on model change testing and parameter selection reasonableness checks

In addition, you will conduct risk oversight reviews of Solvency II reporting, capital management, investment activity and pricing.
