Achieving Aspirations Greenacres provides a short break service and progressive day service for Young adults with Learning disabilities, difficulties, complex health needs and autism.


We are looking for Support Workers to join our team that really want to make a difference to Young people as the grow, develop and explore the world around us.

We empower our Young People to flourish and gain independance in our purpose built home in Great Cornard, Sudbury.


Your role will include offering medication, personal care support, planning activities that help to encourage personal growth and living skills which can include cooking, arts and crafts, sensory activities, going out and about hydro pool time to name a few.

You will receive a full and comprehensive induction.


Care experience is not essential however a good sense of humour, empathy and being resilient is a must, each day offers a new experience for all.


This position requires:


Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Staff to be able to maintain accurate records of young peoples interactions and progress.

Staff to be inclusive, responsive and proactive.

Applicants will need to be able to drive or reliably commute to the site as its in a remote area with no public transport access.


We do not offer sponsporship and require all Full time staff for this post to work a minimum of 35 hours a week and be fully flexible 7 days a week.


Salary:
£10.49-£13.00 per hour
