As the Squad Lead Network Integration, you will be responsible for guiding, integrating, and mantaining Cloud Platforms related infrastructure features to enable the and hand-over to operations the Cloud modules and solutions, to guarantee the business assurance.

You will further be accountable for integrating Cloud solution designs, understanding their impact on the associated infrastructure, network and ensuring the availability of supporting and enabling infrastructure from internal or external service providers

You will support the operational readiness, availability, and performance of the Cloud solutions against SLAs from the level three support perspective along with providing Cloud platform and infrastructure/network-related level three incident and problem management within managed services


Key accountabilities and decision ownership:

  • Work with Private and Public Cloud service providers to forecast and rightsize longterm capacity and performance requirements, iterating regularly
  • Determine user and technical story impact on existing architecture, work processes and systems
  • Design and implement supporting platform/infrastructure/network and tooling for software module development, orchestration and operations
  • Design and implement supporting database and middleware capabilities to support software module development and operations
  • Monitor and maintain Platform/infrastructure/network performance, capacity and availability, providing 2nd and 3rd level of support for the resolution of platformrelated incidents and problems

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • Systems analysis and infrastructure & network design in webscale environments
  • Infrastructure & Network automation and configuration of the management tools, e.g. (Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
  • Public and private cloud IaaS and PaaS product engineering models and technologies, e.g. (Openstack, AWS, Azure)
  • Network knowledge and network management experience in large scale Datacenter environment (e.g. Cisco ACI networking and various SDN technologies)
  • Extended microservice architecture and Containers technology (Docker, Mesos,etc.)
  • Infrastructure and Network development, test design, execution, and validation
  • Cross virtualization and infrastructure technologies, e.g. MWare, Xen, KVM, Docker
  • Infrastructure and Network capacity, performance, and availability management
  • Infrastructure and IT management frameworks, such as ITIL and COBIT
  • Infrastructure & network event monitoring, incident, identifying the RCAs
  • Continuous integration and continuous delivery methodologies and tools


  • Database technologies

  • RDBMS, e.g. MySQL, PostGreSQL, Oracle and NoSQL e.g. Cassandra, Spark, Redis, Mongo,etc.
  • At least two or more programming and scripting languages, e.g. Ruby, Python, PHP
  • Willingness to track, assess, and incorporate practice and technology developments and innovation into daytoday working
  • Good understanding of the business capability / user journey, wider organizational goals, and desired product business outcomes
  • Understanding of both the current Telecommunications and digital services market and emerging business and technology trends
  • Solid financial skills, with the ability to create business cases and budget requests

Technical/professional qualifications we are looking for:

  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree or technical institute certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field
  • 10+ years of work experience in designing, developing, deploying and / or administering infrastructure solutions at the expert certification level
  • Experience of current and emerging virtualization, infrastructure, and cloud and containers technologies and architectures, such as Windows, LinUX/UI, AWS, Azure, Openstack, Docker etc.
  • Experience of configuration management and automation tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt etc.
  • Experience working with programming and scripting languages, such as Ruby and Python
  • Experience working closely with agile methodologies, such as Scrum, XP, and with teams leveraging DevOps and Continuous Delivery / Integration
  • Strong understanding of IT management best practice frameworks, such as ITIL and COBIT
  • Expert experience and knowledge of the IT&TelCo industry preferred
