About "The Role"
- Laundry Assistant

  • Load articles into washers at regular intervals to ensure steady availability of towels and linens.
  • Lubricate equipment to provide light service to machines, and clean or change machine filters when needed; alert manager when machines are in need of professional repair.
  • Sort articles before cleaning, separating them by fabric, color, cleaning technique or dirt content for best results.
  • Sort and count articles as they are removed from dryers; hang, fold or wrap the articles according to requirements or personal attention to detail.
  • Participates in monthly linen inventory.
  • Suggests methods for increasing laundry efficiency.
  • Work in a fast paced environment with time constraints and timing
  • Multitasking with linen in various machines running at the same time with different products
  • Work to deadlines related to production standards and requirements.
  • To comply with COSHH regulations.
  • To ensure the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Maintain a professional appearance in appropriate uniform.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of the laundry area and the equipment.
  • Any other duties as detailed by the Housekeeping Manager or Venue Manager
/Part time/ Flexible hours (we can accommodate school hours, evenings or weekends )
