Administration/ Paralegal Team Leader

A Top100 national defendant law firm are currently looking for Team leader to join their team in Bolton. The Team Leader will be responsible for around 5 Paralegals/ administrators and will take specific responsibility for the delivery of optimum levels of quality and service, delivery against Client KPIs and for the continuous development and motivation of their team


The role would be suitable for an experienced team leader looking for a change or someone with the legal experience in RTA looking to make a move into a team leader role and can demonstrate a real passion for supporting and developing others.


The role:

  • Managing the tasks and priorities of the Production Paralegal Team, distributing the work fairly, implementing appropriate controls to ensure that KPIs and SLAs are achieved on a consistent basis.
  • By forecasting future requirements ensure that appropriate resources are in place to deliver work that meets SLA's and KPI's flagging any capacity issues/requirements with the BUD.
  • Take the lead on driving efficiency throughout the administrative processes.
  • Responsible for ensuring the quality of work within the team is maintained, conducting audits on correspondence and data quality and providing feedback and coaching.
  • Maximising the personal development of team members and identifying training needs ensuring that post training evaluation takes place.
  • An experienced file handler with relevant experience and has the desire and transferable skills to manage and develop a team AND / OR
  • An experienced team leader / supervisor of a volume processing team within a busy environment
  • Experience of using a variety of Microsoft Office packages including Excel and Word to a good standard.
  • Ability to set and manage objectives and targets both at an individual and team level.
  • Experience of identifying performance or conduct issues, objectively reviewing them and dealing with them effectively.
  • Experience of MI analysis and interpretation in order to prepare detailed reports to client & BUD
