Job Title:
Care Assistant


Duties:


  • Provide personal care and support to individuals in their own homes or in a care facility
  • Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Help with meal preparation and feeding
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Assist with mobility and transfers
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and laundry
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
  • Compassionate and caring nature
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable transportation to travel between client locations (if applicable)
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Skills:


  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Empathy and patience when dealing with individuals who may have physical or cognitive limitations
  • Ability to follow instructions and adhere to care plans accurately
  • Basic knowledge of personal care techniques and infection control protocols
  • Good problemsolving skills to address unexpected situations or emergencies

Salary:
£11.00-£12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 33 per week
