Description
This role is to offer daily support to the Global Inventory Manager and to ensure the business has adequate inventory supplies available globally to meet client demands

Located near Heathrow this is a Monday - Friday role


Main Responsibilities:

Monitor and control the stock levels of packaging & assets at all Global Warehouse locations, scheduling replenishment as required.

Manage the return and replacement of damaged / obsolete inventory.

Provide daily reports to the Network / Operations team detailing all of the above.

Control the Global Inventory volumes and make continuous assessments if additional purchase / repositioning of inventory is required.

Inventory forecasting using historic data, trends and known customer demand to predict future inventory requirements.

Monitor the most economic routings available & ensure these are utilized for stock placement & inventory reverse movements.

Monitor all inventory movements ensuring adherence to agreed rate structures and pricing policies.

Ensure all information is accurately recorded

To work collaboratively with all internal teams to ensure maximum client satisfaction.

High level computer skills - Word / Excel / PowerPoint essential.

Capability to analyse data and identify trends / systemic issues.

High level written & verbal communication skills.

Knowledge:

Specialist Courier Operations Experience.

Good understanding of Courier / Freight Operations including Import / Export / Warehouse & Transport.

Excellent understanding of World Geography

Awareness of time zones for different regions.

Familiarisation with industry standards

Experience of working with documented procedures
