The Vice President of Government Sales will be responsible for growth sales across the government sector.


In this role You will:

  • Will design, implement and leverage bestinclass territory strategy and management practices as a manager and key deal hunter in our sales organization focusing on selling into Government markets.
  • Lead the Ciphertace sales team in development of strategy and plan that encompasses the business needs from a revenue, industry, and region perspective.
  • Accountable for ensuring that established sales pipeline, bookings, and revenue targets are met.
  • Is excited by being a thought leader and is intrigued by cryptocurrencies and how they connect to FIAT payments.
  • Develop and implement a repeatable sales playbook to improve execution discipline and effectively take sales plays and solutions to market.
  • Align sales teams with partner priorities and goals and ensure measurable partner impact on revenue and customer success.
  • Work with sales leadership to build and maintain sales pipeline with accurate information and drive proper forecasting.
  • Work crossfunctionally to support strategies and initiatives to accelerate close of sales opportunities with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain and report on pipeline and performance metrics that communicate to Executive Leadership the effectiveness of key programs and investments.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and market conditions in North America. Utilize market analysis to identify new growth opportunities and refine the sales strategy.
  • Establish strong executive relationships and executive cadence with top accounts, partners, and customers across multiple industries.
  • Build, coach, and certify a team of worldclass sales leaders and account executives.

All About You:

  • Expertise in selling software or services to Government entities.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of financial services and/or eCommerce market and landscape.
  • Advanced sales experience with financial institutions and/or cryptocurrency exchanges.
  • Track record of success in fastgrowing, dynamic companies, including managing sales teams.
  • Experience in the crypto industry and/or understanding of blockchain data and related forensics.
  • Willingness and strong desire to get out with the account executives in market to meet directly with customers and prospects.
  • Deep understanding of analytics, data, predictive modeling, and/or business intelligence preferred.
  • Ability to focus and execute in a changing environment; ability to make things happen.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships while delivering results in a complex, matrixed global organization.
  • Strong drive and character qualities that match with company core values and inspires others to follow and act.
  • Executive presence to lead and cultivate enduring relationships with customers and partners.
