Estimator Oak Dry Lining

Location:
London, South East predominantly, some work will be in East Midlands


Purpose of the role:


As a Contracts Manager you will take full responsibility for all production functions on contracts allocated by the Operations Director - Oak Facades, through Pre-construction, contract award, to issue of Maintenance Certificate and to maintain and maximise quality of service and profitability.

Working on new build and fire remediation projects.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Provide weekly progress updates.
  • Produce monthly progress reports for board papers.
  • Produce monthly Team meeting reports.
  • Produce client reports
  • Regularly review and signoff of required HS&E documentation in line with the BMS.
  • Produce monthly Client progress reports.
  • Hold Biweekly presentations of SSER reports, quality management i.e. Fire Engineers and consultants, NHBC RI's, and programme implications for all sites.
  • Convene and chair team meetings and ensure an appropriate record of action points are recorded, distributed and monitored to a conclusion.
  • Work with the planner to design and develop working programmes that can be reported against to the senior team and clients
  • Manage teams of Project and Site Managers
  • Work with the commercial team and manage project budgets
  • Ensure compliance with the company BMS. Promote areas of improvement.
  • Control information/drawing registers in conjunction with the Technical department ensuring site and all Subcontractors are issued with relevant information in a timely manner.
  • Report any HS&E issues to the Health & Safety Manager.
  • Implement the Quality, Safety and Environmental Policies and Targets.

  • Managing several live construction sites and teams at any one time.
  • Ability to report accurately and on time with key information on progress and deliverables.
  • Proven ability of delivering construction projects safely, on time, to budget and quality standards with high customer satisfaction results.
  • Experience of working closely with spec housing sales teams and delivering units to meet sales targets.
  • Commercially aware.
  • Excellent time management with ability to multitask.
  • Professional aptitude and appearance always.
  • Ability to make decisions within authority.
  • Able to lead and work as a team member.
  • Strives for continuous improvement for the benefit of the company.
  • Driven to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Experienced in analysing problems and delivering solutions.
  • Communicates clearly with confidence at all levels.
  • Aware of individual Health and Safety responsibilities and adheres to company health and safety policy and procedures.

Technical / Professional Qualifications Required

  • Construction related further education.
  • Construction related HNC/HND/Degree/Level 7 NVQ
  • Member of CIOB or working towards
  • Relevant CSCS card.
  • Experience of NHBC procedures with proven results.
  • High level of construction related health, safety & environmental knowledge.
  • Experience in Fire remediation and façade works
