    About the role


In this brand new role, you will manage a comprehensive testing programme that provides assurance over the Collections process being delivered to Arval UK customers.

You will be responsible for completing Quality Assurance testing whilst continually looking for programme improvements. In addition, you will produce the governance MI (Management Information) packs for the Head of Collections.

This role will see you working within Collections, reporting to the Head of Collections, but also working closely with the Compliance, Legal and Operational Risk teams too


Key responsibilities will include:


  • Design, implement and manage the Collections Quality Assurance Framework
  • Perform specific Quality Assurance testing, root cause analysis, action planning and report results/outputs
  • Accomplish Quality Assurance objectives by monitoring, reviewing, and enforcing policies and procedures
  • Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Support the Collections Team process owners with action plans
  • Monitor & manage performance and behaviours to ensure consistent and successful delivery in line with department vision & strategy, objectives and quality standards

This role is comes with a basic salary range of
£50,000 to £60,000 and being at pay zone level B3, an additional
£8,900 (max) bonus + company car/ £6,000pa cash allowance.

About You


To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of the UK regulatory environment and what constitutes fair customer outcomes, in line with Consumer Duty regulations.

Experience within Collections is also important. Leasing experience would be icing on the cake.

From a technical perspective, you will be familiar with 3 lines of defence, operational risk and control management principles. Particularly with regards frameworks, policies, methodology and systems.

You will also have detailed experience of Quality Assurance and control testing across audits, quality checking, assurance reviews, and root cause analysis whilst defining actions to prevent re-occurrence of failures.

Gifted at manoeuvring politically to Exec level, your ability to develop meaningful strategic relationships with ease will be evident. You will understand the regulatory and corporate landscape and have the necessary credibility, charm and robustness to succeed.


Key skills required:


  • High level understanding and experience within a UK regulatory environment affecting consumer finance
  • Strong familiarity within Collections teams
  • Background in a Quality Control position
  • Comprehensive Quality Assurance history
  • Leasing experience (ideally)
  • Politically savvy
  • Relationship expert with finely tuned influencing skills
