Role Purpose
Workington GP Practice have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join us as a Recalls Administrator.

As a Recall Administrator you will need to be an effective and efficient communicator to be able to undertake and prioritise a variety or administrative duties.


Job summary


The post holder will work within a supportive administrative team to support the recalls of patients with a chronic disease.

You will be required to carry out searches, audits and recalls as required by the practice to support maximal achievement in QOF and other practice targets.


Role of Department


Providing dedicated day to day administrative support to the wider team and ensure all administrative and clerical requirements are provided in a timely and efficient manner.


Duties and Responsibilities

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • LTC condition recall, creation, searches & booking
  • Creation of QOF LTC lists. Both text and letter versions
  • Running of month of birth searches. As per calendar for ensuring adequate invitation time ahead of birth month
  • Baby immunisations
  • Ensuring booked before due
  • Contact for overdue imms
  • Coding of under 5 registration imms history
  • Floreys
  • Sending pre appointment questionnaires
  • Saving of questionnaires
  • Online appointment
  • Booking checking for inappropriate items such as early smears
  • Diary date system
  • Creation of new diary date follow up entries from tasks
  • Running of searches of due & overdue diary date entries
  • Contacting patients to book due diary date entries
  • Housekeeping of diary date system
  • Use of diary date completer
  • Checking & downloading of ICE results to complete diary dates
- medication bloods

  • Overdue searches & booking, DOAC, DMARDS, various others
  • Enhance service activity checking
  • Running of quarter reports
  • Checking/correcting of coding issues for payment
  • Ardens case finder reports
  • Production of report lists
  • Liaising with GP's to address reports
  • Correction of minor coding issues
  • Flu programme
  • Creation of lists. Both text and letter versions
