Description
We are currently seeking a self-motivated and organised individual to join our Plant Administration team as a Business Administration Apprentice.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn and perform various administration tasks to support the team and gain valuable experience in the field of business administration.
Your Tasks
- As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will be responsible for performing a range of administrative tasks
Your duties will include:
- Assisting with diary management, including scheduling appointments and arranging meetings.
- Processing invoices accurately and ensuring timely payments.
- Raising requisitions and placing orders for necessary supplies and equipment.
- Maintaining an organized filing system for easy document retrieval.
- Assisting with reception duties, including handling incoming and outgoing post.
- Arranging hospitality for meetings and preparing meeting rooms with refreshments and catering arrangements.
- Coordinating travel and hotel bookings using our Company booking systems.
- Supporting the organization of company events and visits to the plant.
- Coordinating onsite accommodation requirements for visitors.
- Assisting with departmental projects, as needed.
- Ensure all course work is completed within expected timescales.
Our Requirements
- To be considered for this apprenticeship, the following qualifications and skills are required:
- A good standard of secondary education with a minimum of 5 GCSEs, C / 4 or above, including Maths and English.
- Selfmotivation and excellent interpersonal skills as a valuable team player.
- Strong organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- A confident telephone manner and effective communication skills.
- Competency in using Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
